Say "I do" in style with our Love in a Flash wedding package! Enjoy a quick intimate ceremony with @RoxyCelebrant, surrounded by up to 30 of your closest loved ones. Each guest will be treated to a glass of bubbles to toast your big moment and you’ll also receive professional photos by @WildflowerWeddings to capture the memories.
With time slots running on the hour, every hour, you’ll have access to our beautiful yard (with bar) to celebrate post-ceremony. Optional add-ons include a grazing box, garden posy bouquet and additional photos.

How does it work?
“Love in a Flash” is a day full of love taking place at The Black Brisbane.
8 weddings take place over the course of ONE day.
Each wedding will have a one hour time slot. This includes a 15 minute legal ceremony in our function space, time to enjoy some bubbles with your guests in our courtyard and professional pictures OF YOUR MOMENT around the venue.

Meet the team behind the day

The Black Brisbane
Your shotgun wedding will take place at The Black Brisbane in our main function space. The space will include enough seating for all guests, hessian aisle runner, decorative florals and signing table.

Roxy Celebrant
Roxy Celebrant will be doing the marrying, making sure it’s all legal, whilst delivering a ceremony which will have a good dose of warm and fuzzies, alongside a healthy dollop of humour.

Wildflower Weddings
Kirsty is a skilled local photographer who captures candid, genuine moments. She will be here to document your day with relaxed, beautiful images.

Yes, the Love in a Flash package includes a celebrant! Roxy Celebrant will chat with you beforehand and will be there on the day to conduct the ceremony and fill in the paperwork to make it legal!

Yes, you can totally come and see the space before booking your slot!

Yes absolutely, The Black Brisbane is a child friendly venue so of course you can invite your little ones!

Yes! Your guests will receive a glass of bubbly at the end of your ceremony as part of the package and then they are welcome to purchase additional drinks from our cash bar!
We also have the option to pre-purchase a grazing box for your guests to enjoy some nibbles together (please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements and we will try our best to accomodate). Collingwood Black cafe will also be open throughout the day to purchase some light bites/pastries!

You will have exclusive use of our ceremony space for the duration of your ceremony, making sure it's a private event! Following your ceremony, your guests will be able to enjoy some drinks in our courtyard area which will be open to the public.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the day we will not be able to accomodate ceremonies for over 30 guests. If you're looking for a bigger celebration, get in touch with our events team and we can discuss our other wedding packages!

Yes! Our courtyard will be open throughout the day to continue your celebrations with access to a cash bar!
